Neck, shoulder or back pain can be debilitating. Why do we get it? Since most often it is not from an injury, we need to examine what we are doing (or not doing) on a daily basis. We wake up, stand up and probably move around a little but for many people much of the rest of the day involves sitting while traveling to work and sitting most of the day at work. Then they sit while traveling home and in front of the TV or computer for the evening. This all causes stress on the neck, shoulder and back. Pain is the result but is often delayed, making the connection between cause and effect less obvious. The next day they do the same thing over again and do it day after day for years until encountering problems like:
